A name on a label does not mean the same ingredient. Echinacea products differ greatly in species, plant part and manufacturing, and the effects of a probiotic depend on the exact strain, not just the species.4, 5 That is why every LIFENOR active is a named, trademarked ingredient: a defined form with its own documentation and research, not an unspecified generic from the same family.

Highest serum vitamin C of four forms tested
In a single-dose study in healthy volunteers on a low-vitamin-C diet, PureWay-C® produced the highest serum vitamin C levels of the four forms tested, which included standard ascorbic acid.1 The form of vitamin C matters. Vitamin C supports normal immune function.

Bacillus coagulans GBI-30, 6086: a spore-forming probiotic
Built to survive digestion
BC30® is one specific strain, and probiotic effects are strain-specific.4 In a laboratory model of the stomach and small intestine, about 70% of BC30® spores survived transit.2 In a placebo-controlled trial in 80 children aged 6–8, daily BC30® was associated with fewer reported respiratory and digestive symptoms.3

Echinacea purpurea, cold-pressed juice powder
A defined extract, not generic echinacea
Echinacea products on the market differ greatly in species, plant part and manufacturing, so one product cannot stand in for another.5 EFLA®894 is made from freshly harvested aerial parts of Echinacea purpurea, cold-pressed to a juice, dried to a powder and standardized to more than 2.4% β-1,2-D-fructofuranosides.6

Austrian black elderberry extract (Sambucus nigra)
Single-origin and polyphenol-standardized
ElderCraft® is a water-soluble extract of Austrian “Haschberg” European black elderberries, made with Iprona polyphenol technology and standardized to defined polyphenol and anthocyanin specifications.7 In a placebo-controlled trial of 312 air travellers, an elderberry extract from the same variety and processor was associated with shorter colds and lower symptom scores; the number of colds did not differ significantly.8

Selenium in its organic, food-form (mainly selenomethionine)
A reference standard for selenium yeast
Selenium yeast supplies selenium built into amino acids such as selenomethionine. A review of human studies found it more bioavailable than inorganic selenium in all but one of the studies reviewed.9 Lalmin® Se was chosen by Canada’s National Research Council as the basis for its selenomethionine reference material for selenized yeast.10 Selenium contributes to normal immune function.

Native chicory-root inulin (Sensus)
Prebiotic fiber that feeds beneficial bacteria
In a double-blind, placebo-controlled crossover study in 30 healthy adults, chicory inulin from Sensus, the maker of Frutafit®, increased faecal bifidobacteria at 5 g and 8 g a day.11 Inulin is a prebiotic fiber: it feeds the beneficial bacteria already in the gut.

NYA combines vitamins, minerals, botanical extracts and a probiotic to support normal immune function. ESSEN-A offers a focused formula centred on vitamin A. They serve different nutritional needs and may be used together where appropriate. Follow each product’s recommended directions and take other supplements into account.
Tear open a stick pack and take it however you like: pour the powder straight into your mouth, stir it into water or any non-alcoholic drink, or sprinkle it over yogurt, a fruit bowl, a smoothie or similar. NYA: 1–2 stick packs per day, as needed. ESSEN-A: 1 stick pack per day.
Children have different nutritional needs depending on their age.

You may request a refund within 30 days of receiving your LIFENOR product if you believe it is defective or damaged. To initiate a refund, please contact our customer service with proof of the issue within the 30-day period. Returned products must be in their original packaging and condition.
We do not offer refunds for change of mind or dissatisfaction. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is confirmed defective. Refunds will be processed within 7 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item.
